Arbor Solution has launched the Gladius G0975 rugged tablet. Featuring docking options or portable use, magnetic stripe reader, 1D/2D barcode scanner, and multiple connectivity options, this ruggedly built tablet makes the perfect sales assistant. The unit also has a generous, easy-to-view 9.7″ XGA TFT color LCD with projected capacitive touchscreen. It is ideal for use indoors under normal store or warehouse lighting situations or there is a display option for outdoors in bright sunlight.

The Gladius G0975 tablet is both MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified, meaning it withstands drops of up to four feet, as well as shocks and spills, and prevents entry of dust and 360° water spray. Its rugged characteristics make it perfect for any retail or mobile point of sale application, whether inside or out, mounted or portable.
The Arbor Solution G0975 tablet features a large, easy-on-the-eyes 9.7″ XGA IPS color LCD with five-point MultiTouch projectedcapacitive touchscreen display. It provides clear images and consistent, accurate color from all viewing angles. It uses exceptionally thin Corning Gorilla Glass, that enables more sensitivity and accurate touch response, as well as enhanced scratch resistance, reduced scratch visibility, and better retained strength once a scratch occurs.
A second version of the G0975, with an optically bonded screen, is available for use in sunlight or high ambient-light conditions.
The variety of standard connectivity options with the G0975 allow sales professionals to roam freely about a store or warehouse, or to work at off-site kiosks and other distant locations. These options include: integrated WLAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections; and USB, mini USB, assorted SD, and HDMI ports provide extended versatility.
Other features include: Intel Quad Core Celeron N2930 Baytrail 1.86 GHz processor for high-computing performance; Intel HD graphics; support for Linux, as well as Windows 7 and Windows 8 and their embedded versions; internal and external Lithium-Ion battery packs that deliver hot-swap functionality; 2GB of standard memory (up to 8GB optional); 32 GB of mSATA storage (up to 512 GB optional); time-saving keys for ‘home’ and four customer programmable function keys; 5MP rear facing CMOS camera with auto focus and light supplement; integrated microphone and speakers; accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, and light sensors; and system security provided by an encrypted drive or enterprise drive, software or hardware encrypted magnetic stripe reader or via a wide variety of third party Windows software solutions.
