Samsung Electronics Philippines Company has unveiled its Industry Business Solution Center that presents the company’s future direction and solutions available for the business sector. The center showcases industry solutions for education, healthcare, office, banking and finance, hospitality and retail industries.
“Samsung is extending its strong consumer brand awareness into the business-to-business market,” said Irene Catane, Samsung’s Enterprise Business Director. Catane was previously the Country Manager for Systems and Technology Group at IBM Phillipines.
According to Anton Co, Business Development Leader of Samsung’s Enterprise Business Team, Samsung is now partnering with companies to make business transactions interactive, integrated and mobile across a diverse spectrum of industries. “We would like to allow a better sharing and collaboration so we can all discover opportunities together.”
For the education solution sector, Samsung’s solutions provide better teacher to student interaction, more efficient communication and improved classroom management. The offering consists of Samsung tablet, interactive systems and displays, interactive notebooks, software, interactive whiteboard and printing solutions. These technologies can help students take active role in the classroom and share their ideas on multiple screens to create interaction among all students.
Samsung also offers solutions designed for efficient use in modern healthcare environment. These solutions can help increase efficiency and improve service quality in the medical industry. Mobile devices allow doctors to view and diagnose patients while on the move. Medical records can be shared with smart tablets, minimizing time in doing paperwork and fewer prescription errors.

The company has also the so-called SecuThru Light solution which ensures security of printed documents in the workplace.
For the hospitality industry, Samsung’s displays allow its partners to provide a customized content to their hotel rooms, giving a different experience altogether. Samsung has also an in-room automation feature that is able to control light and the hotel television using a Samsung device.

Diners can also settle their bills easier with a mobile payment application that will let them transact through credit cards.
