The Chinese-owned OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp. has launched in the Philippines its OPPO Find 7, the flagship phone of the Find series. It is also the company’s first 4G smartphone.

Running on Android-based ColorOS, Find 7 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU with 2.5 GHz quad-core processor. It is based on Qualcomm Krait 400 core architecture and carries the Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB dual-channel LPDDR3 1866 RAM as well as 32GB eMMC 5.0 ROM, making the unit reduces power consumption by up to 20%. These features, the company claims, make Find 7 capable of responding quickly whether it is powering on, running multiple applications and loading large games.

Find 7 also features the world’s first VOOC Rapid Charge technology, which includes a 3000 mAH battery together with customized circuits, battery cells, 7-pin USB port, data cable and a small adapter. This technology boosts the phone’s battery life to 75% within 30 minutes, which is four times faster than conventional chargers. It’s charging speed which significantly increases by up to 400% enables users to make a call for two hours after charging for just five minutes.

With its 5.5-inch screen, 2560×1440 resolution and 538ppi, Find 7 introduces a new generation of high-definition mobile phones, taking advantage of Fine Pixel coating and Nature Color calibrating technologies to shrink an IMAX screen of more than 350 m2 into 5.5 inches.

To have a stronger screen scratch resistance, the phone uses the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and adopts the TOL (Touch on Lens) one glass integrative binding technology where each small piece of glass is individually polished and bound in a solution. This technology contributes to fewer cracks and enhances body strength by 40%.

Find 7’s body frame is made of the latest aerospace-qualified Titanium-Aluminum alloy to ensure higher strength, better protection for the screen, excellent heat dispersion, and contribute to a more solid grip for users.

Find 7 has a 13-megapixel (MP) camera that includes a 50 MP software enhancement with the PI 2.0 technology that lets the phone pick out the best parts of 10 consecutive photos and combine them to make a crisp 50 MP ultra-HD image. The video is at 4K resolution with HDR and slow motion capabilities.

To allow more light in when taking photos, the Find 7 is embedded with the world’s first Sony IMX214 stacked CMOS sensor, an upgraded type 1/3.06 imaging module and a wide f/2.0 aperture. This sensor enables users to take photos even in low light conditions. And with a 32-second long exposure and a smart noise-reduction algorithm, users are able to take crystal clear night shots without using flash or losing image details.
