Kyocera Document Solutions, through its official Philippine distributor Philcopy Corporation, has launched two new series of MFPs to extend the company’s flagship TASKalfa range. The TASKalfa 1800 and 2200 series deliver the essential functionality and performance that small businesses and department workgroups require while giving special features that deliver new capabilities and added security.
The TASKalfa 1800 and 1801 speed to 18 pages per minute (ppm), while the TASKalfa 2200 and 2201 series run at 22 ppm. Both series can copy, print, and color scan.
Designed as serious workhorse copiers, printers, and scanners, these new models all have an Ecosys super long life drum that lasts up to 150,000 pages. To maximize uptime and environmental friendliness even further, the series uses a high capacity regular cartridge that yields up to 15,000 pages.
Also standard with these models are user-friendly feature to make office workflows simple.
ID Card Copy is a simple productivity feature, managed via the hard key control panel, that copies both sides of the source document into a single side of paper in one action. This simplifies and streamlines tasks such as copying insurance cards, drivers’ licenses, or even checks, saving money by maximizing paper usage and time.
Keeping documents confidential in a small office or business can be a challenge which is why the models are equipped with the print box function similar to Private Print. It enables users to print confidential documents on a shared device by temporarily storing the document, on the user’s PC and printing by simply pressing the ‘Printbox’ button on the device.
All models are compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux with the more advanced TASKalfa 1801 and 2201 models having further enhancement options such as FAX and Network expandability.
