PLDT, through its large enterprise arm PLDT ALPHA Enterprise, has launched three new additions to its expanding PLDT Cloud Portfolio: PLDT Cloud Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), PLDT Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS), and PLDT Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) – Microsoft Office 365.
PLDT Cloud UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) is a cloud-based solution that unifies IP Telephony, Presence, Mobility, Unified Messaging, and Collaboration applications for enterprise users across all industries. It enables them to collaborate and stay connected beyond office borders. It shifts the paradigm for Unified Communications for enterprises by eliminating the need for on-site private automatic branch exchanges (PABX) and other equipment.
PLDT Cloud PaaS gives enterprises the ability to develop and deliver various applications with unprecedented ease. Enterprise developers can begin creating their applications in a standard Web browser using pre-built templates, significantly reducing development lead-time thanks to an 80% drag-and-drop and 20% coding model.
PLDT Cloud SaaS – Microsoft Office 365 brings together cloud versions of Microsoft’s most trusted communications and collaboration products. Microsoft Office 365 is designed to serve the needs of businesses of all sizes — saving time and money as well as freeing up valuable resources.
These three new cloud-based solutions are the latest in the PLDT Cloud portfolio. PLDT Cloud was formally launched in 2012 with the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. Last 2013 featured the launch of PLDT Cloud Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS).
