Smart Communications Inc. has announced a rebate program for postpaid plan subscribers. The service provider is giving its subscribers the option to have guaranteed bill rebates that they can use as their monthly savings or use for more calls, text, and mobile internet.
“The 35% rebate can offer huge savings to a mobile subscriber,” said Kathy Carag, head of Smart’s Postpaid Business Group. “Suppose your total usage for the month is P1,800, a 35% rebate means you get to save P630, deductible to your next bill.”
Under the “The Smart Great Rebate” postpaid program, new and renewing subscribers may opt for a SIM-only postpaid plan to enjoy automatic monthly bill rebates for the entire 24-month contract period.
New subscribers of Smart Postpaid’s SIM-only plan under the Smart Great Rebate program will automatically get P25% bill rebates per month.
Existing subscribers who will avail of retention plans can also get rebates that go higher the longer their plan’s tenure with Smart is. Subscribers who have been with the network for 24 to 47 months will enjoy 25% rebates.
Those who have Smart Postpaid accounts active from more than 47 months but less than 71 months are entitled to 30% rebates while owners of Smart accounts active for 72 months and up will enjoy the highest rebate rate of 35%.
Aside from the automatic monthly rebates, subscribers both new and existing are also entitled to the additional P50 rebate, redeemable through Smart Rewards points.
Smart Rewards points are automatically earned for every bills payment. To register to the program, subscriber only needs to text REWARDS to 9800. Rebate redemption keyword is REDEEM 50, which must also be sent to 9800.
