Lenovo has announced that it is holding a promotion to celebrate its recent No. 1 standing in personal computer (PC) sales worldwide. With Lenovo’s “1 Reason to Celebrate” promotion, customers who purchase select Lenovo laptops and all-in-one (AIO) desktops from July 29 to September 30 will get freebies such as speakers and headsets, McAfee Internet Security Licenses and Samsonite bags.
Lenovo was ranked the No. 1 PC vendor worldwide with shipments for the first quarter of 2013 totaling 12.6 million units. In Asia Pacific, Lenovo’s first quarter revenue reached US$1.3 billion or 15 percent of the company’s worldwide revenue.Lenovo is currently the #1 PC vendor in the Philippines with a double-digit market share, based on the latest IDC results.

As part of Lenovo’s “1 Reason to Celebrate” promo, Lenovo is giving a free 3-year McAfee Internet Security license worth Php1,600 to buyers of the Lenovo Yoga laptops. Lenovo Yoga 13 are equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor and i7 processor, respectively. They come with Windows 8 operating system, 4-cell Li-ion battery and Intel High definition graphics. Users can convert both laptops into tents, stands, or tablets. This feature, called Lenovo Transition, allows users to define which mode works best for them in their environments; from the park, coffee shop, in transit, at home or in the office.
The Lenovo Yoga 11s and Yoga 13 cost Php44,995 and Php64,995 respectively.
Lenovo is also bundling free 3-year McAfee Internet Security license worth Php1,600 plus a Samsonite backpack to the buyers of Lenovo Y480 and Lenovo Y580. Those buying the Lenovo Y500 will receive the 3-year McAfee Internet Security license, Samsonite backpack and a Razer gaming mouse.
The 14″ Lenovo Y480, 15.6″ Lenovo Y580, and 15.6″ Lenovo Y500 boast of high processing speed with their Core i7 processors. All three have built-in stereo speakers and packed with Nvidia GeForce GT to ensure that doers stay on top of the game, whether for play or work.
The Lenovo Y480, Lenovo Y500 and Lenovo Y580 are available in select Lenovo outlets nationwide at Php46,200, Php69,995 and Php57,595 respectively.
