GAC PH unites dealers under ‘One GAC’, previews GS8 HEV and expanded lineup

“The change to self-operation shows our strong confidence in the local market. It also means we will invest more resources, strengthen the local team, and fully support all partners for win-win growth,” said Steven Wang, Senior Vice President of GAC International.

GAC International Philippines, Inc. held the 2026 GAC Philippines Dealer Conference on February 27, bringing together its dealer network from across the country under the theme “Building Success Together as ONE GAC.”

The conference marked the first dealer gathering organized under GAC’s direct, self-operated presence in the Philippines, following the establishment of GAC International Philippines, Inc. as the brand’s wholly owned local subsidiary. Now managed directly by GAC headquarters, the company is positioned to provide faster parts availability, more efficient aftersales support, and closer coordination across its nationwide dealer network, reinforcing customer confidence during this new phase of operations.

The event served as a key platform to align dealers on GAC Philippines’ strategic direction, anchored by the ONE GAC brand philosophy of One Brand, One Channel, and One Service, which aims to deliver consistent standards across sales, service, and customer experience.

Dealer principals and representatives from Metro Manila, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao took part in a dealer agreement signing ceremony during the conference. The nationwide participation underscored the strength and breadth of GAC’s dealer network and stands as a clear testament to market stability and long-term confidence in GAC’s direction, structure, and investments in the Philippine market.

“The change to self-operation shows our strong confidence in the local market. It also means we will invest more resources, strengthen the local team, and fully support all partners for win-win growth,” said Steven Wang, Senior Vice President of GAC International.

In addition to strategic discussions, GAC Philippines gave dealers an exclusive preview of its expanding product portfolio, highlighting the lineup that will soon be available across showrooms. The brand’s 2026 lineup reflects a more versatile and customer-focused approach to mobility. These include the GS8 HEV, AION UT, HYPTEC HT, AION V, AION Y Plus, E8, and GN8 PHEV, spanning internal combustion, hybrid, and full electric mobility solutions.

As part of its product roadmap, GAC Philippines also emphasized its push to build strong market awareness for the GS8 HEV, including the upcoming GS8 HEV Limited Edition, which the company is positioning as a new benchmark in hybrid luxury.

GS8 HEV: Redefining Premium Mobility

The GS8 HEV premium crossover SUV retains its commanding and refined design, now paired with the Mega Wave THS hybrid system, delivering improved fuel efficiency without compromising performance. A sophisticated seven-seater, the GS8 HEV features a 2.0T hybrid powertrain engineered for smooth power delivery, with a maximum output of 40 kW and 121 Nm of torque.

The GS8 HEV is expected to be available to accept orders in the Philippines from March 2026, with pricing and full specifications to be announced closer to its retail launch.
