HP introduces HP Engage One G2 AIO

Built to perform in fast-changing environments, this new point-of-sale system combines refined design, flexible configuration options, and enterprise-grade durability to provide a stable platform for innovation – without constant disruption.

Retail and hospitality leaders are navigating a growing tension at the front of house, driven by the need to deliver elevated, technology-enabled customer experiences while keeping operations stable, secure, and financially consistent over time. As stores, hotels, and restaurants modernize, the cost of frequent hardware refresh cycles, fragmented deployments, and operational downtime is becoming harder to justify.

To help businesses regain control, HP is expanding its intelligent retail solutions portfolio with the HP Engage One G2 All-in-One (AIO), the next generation of the HP Engage One AIO first introduced in 2017. Built to perform in fast-changing environments, this new point-of-sale system combines refined design, flexible configuration options, and enterprise-grade durability to provide a stable platform for innovation – without constant disruption.

Designed to elevate the front of house

First impressions matter more than ever, especially at the point of sale. PwC’s 2025 Customer Experience Survey found that 29% of consumers stopped using or buying from a brand due to poor customer experience.1 In retail and hospitality environments, that experience is shaped as much by reliability, speed, and design at the point of sale as it is by service itself.

The HP Engage One G2 AIO features a thin 15.6-inch landscape display housed in an ultra-slim aluminum chassis, designed to elevate modern retail and hospitality environments without sacrificing durability. With a 0–60° adjustable tilt, optional swivel and mounting options, and VESA compatibility, businesses can tailor their setup for everything from boutique storefronts to high-traffic counters. Optional integrated peripherals, including NFC, MSR, and customer-facing display options, help keep counters clean while adapting to evolving checkout needs.

Built to last through years of operation

Retail and hospitality organizations are under constant pressure to keep up with ever-changing consumer demands without disrupting day-to-day operations. Yet frequent hardware refresh cycles, inconsistent deployments, and frontline system failures can inflate costs, strain IT teams, and create downtime at the moments when reliability matters most. For businesses operating at scale, long-term stability is not a luxury, it’s a requirement.

The HP Engage One G2 AIO is engineered to support extended, real-world deployment with a five-year product lifecycle and an additional five-year service life, helping organizations standardize their point-of-sale infrastructure over time. Built to endure demanding environments, the system features IP54 rating for resistance to dust and liquid intrusion and is designed to pass MIL-STD-810H durability testing, along with extensive HP Total Testing. Together, these capabilities allow businesses to roll out and expand with confidence while reducing unexpected downtime, lowering total cost of ownership, and enabling IT teams to focus less on hardware replacement and more on creating great customer and employee experiences.

Performance and uptime built for demanding operations

In fast paced environments, performance issues or system downtime don’t just slow transactions, they interrupt service, frustrate customers, and directly impact revenue. As workflows become more digital and security threats more sophisticated, businesses need point-of-sale systems that can keep up without introducing new complexity for IT teams.

The HP Engage One G2 AIO is built to support continuous, high-volume operation with 15W Intel® Core™ Processors, capable of handling everything from everyday transactions to more interactive customer experiences. To support diverse IT environments, customers can choose from multiple operating system options, including Windows and Linux, and HP has collaborated with Google to certify select HP Engage devices for ChromeOS Flex, a secure, cloud-first, and easy-to-manage operating system. For organizations exploring advanced use cases, an optional HP AI Accelerator Card enables efficient processing of emerging voice and vision-based AI applications at the edge, helping businesses adopt new capabilities without re-platforming their core systems.

Shift from a reactive to a proactive approach with HP Workforce Experience. Acting as the central hub of HP’s retail solutions, it provides comprehensive fleet management, uncovers valuable insights, and enforces hardware-based endpoint security with HP Wolf Security for Business. This ensures frontline operations remain secure, resilient, and uninterrupted. To minimize disruption when service is required, the HP Engage One G2 AIO features a quick-release head unit for fast interior access and dual M.2 slots that support upgrades to storage or components as business needs evolve. Together, this approach helps reduce downtime, extend system longevity, and keep operations running smoothly.

A future-ready foundation for retail and hospitality

As customer expectations evolve and frontline operations become more digitally complex, businesses need technology that can evolve without introducing constant disruption. Through its intelligent retail solutions, HP is bringing hardware, software, and services together into a unified platform designed to improve operational consistency, security, and control across the store.

The new HP Engage One G2 AIO represents this approach in action. By combining thoughtful design, durable engineering, built-in security, and extended lifecycle support, it helps retailers and hospitality leaders focus less on managing infrastructure and more on delivering meaningful customer and employee experiences.

The HP Engage One G2 AIO is expected to be available starting in June 2026.
