This is the market with the buying power that is being targeted by Mobkard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone loves a good deal, and sometimes many consumers miss out on discounts and other privileges simply because they are not aware of them when they enter a particular store,\u201d Uy said. \u201cWe hope that with Mobkard, we bring this wealth of knowledge closer to users through\u2026 their mobile phones.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Uy added that with Mobkard, \u201cthere\u2019s no more need to carry discount vouchers or loyalty cards around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mobkard was initially funded by IdeaSpace, with additional funding provided by Globaltronics Inc. The capital reached P17 million, which TheKard Inc. eyes to recover from ad fees from the participating merchants.
