Epson has announced that it formed partnership with Photogs For A Cause (PFAC).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier this year, PFAC \u2013 a group of professional photographers who do pro bono work for NGOs that have no budget for their photography needs \u2013 visited Brgy. Buscalan in Kalinga. Aside from visiting the new birthing facility in the area and bringing basic supplies, the mission was simple: to take portraits and give the pictures to people who have never had their own photographs.<\/p>\n

PFAC brought Epson to the place, with the company printing the photographs.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a simple gift, and yet the joy that they exhibited upon receiving their photos can\u2019t be quantified,\u201d said Donna V. Ferro of Epson Philippines. \u201cThese are people who have never owned a photo, and so this was incredibly precious for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not the first time that people have come here and take their photos,\u201d said Tracey Heppner, founder of PFAC. \u201cThe visitors always say they will come back when they have the photo print outs, but they aren\u2019t able to deliver on the promise, probably because of the treacherous paths that you need to take to get there. But now, with the Epson printer that we\u2019ve brought to the mountain, for the first time, the locals get a copy of their photos.\u201d<\/p>\n

Epson provided an L800 genuine ink tank system photo printer to provide the prints to the people of Buscalan.<\/p>\n
