<\/a>Teddy Sumulong, Managing Director of CTP (standing), says “the new partnerships are a testament of Computrade\u2019s long-term commitment to the Philippines.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n First on the list of CTP\u2019s new products is the BlueCat Networks which has a flexible architecture so users can exploit technology transformations like cloud, mobility and the Internet of Things.<\/p>\n Fred Rees, Regional Vice President-Asia Pacific at BlueCat, said that the Canada-based firm has the ability to leverage Dynamic Data Interconnected (DDI) in the network as a business enabler and differentiator in today\u2019s complex networks.<\/p>\n Rees said that the Philippines is a very important growing and maturing market for BlueCat and its partnership with CTP brings together two growing organizations focused on supporting and enabling Philippine businesses to lead in the data world.<\/p>\n Rees cited financial, manufacturing, telecommunications and technology as some of its big users.<\/p>\n Oscar Visaya, Country Manager of F5 Networks, on the other hand, said that their company delivers “the most secure, fast and reliable applications to anyone, anywhere at anytime.”<\/p>\n Visaya enumerated some industries that they serve including airlines, commercial, banks, telecommunications and mobile operators, and oil and gas.<\/p>\n He further said that with Computrade as their partner, their customers in the Philippines will be able to leverage F5 technology in their journey to greater agility, security and scalability in their architecture.<\/p>\n Martin Darling, Vice President, Asia- Pacific of MapR Technologies, said that they focused on enterprise, analytics and cloud, and supports Hadoop platform, NoSQL, database and streaming applications in one unified distribution for Hadoop.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are confident in working with CTP as they are committed in being one of the forerunners in providing Business Analytics solutions to meet the market demands,\u201d adds Reggie Borja, Alliance Manager, SAS Philippines.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Expansion plans In an interview with UpgradeMag.com<\/em>, Sumulong said the company intends to expand its customer base and operations.<\/p>\n To expand its customer base, CTP will develop and build key solutions clients will require in the next two to five years, according to Sumulong. These are in the areas of Big Data, analytics, infrastructure and security.<\/p>\n Key industries CTP wants to pursue include utilities, government, FSI, manufacturing, travel and transport.<\/p>\n When asked about which CTP products would have tremendous take up in the market, Sumulong mentioned security and Big Data as companies are more focused on creating value with their data and making sure it is secure.<\/p>\n For those who are facing significant budgetary challenges as they move to the 3rd platform, Sumulong claims that most of their solutions are very cost-effective thus the capital investments are minimal compared to other alternatives.<\/p>\n With regards t o expansion, Sumulong reveals the company plans to penetrate other areas such as Cebu.
