Samsung’s innovative Note Edge, a Galaxy Note smartphone phone that has a curved edge screen which dominates the right side of the phone, is now available in the Philippines but on limited stock and at a steep price: Php43,990.<\/p>\n

The Edge shares most specifications with its sibling, the Note 4, but its Quad HD and Super AMOLED display is fractionally smaller at 5.6 inches. The main display has a 2560×1440-pixel resolution, while the curved screen has 160 pixels. Compared to the Note 4, the Edge’s battery has a lesser 3000 milliamp-hour rating.<\/p>\n

Powered by a 2.7 Ghz Quad Core processor, the Galaxy Note Edge runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) and features a premium metal frame.<\/p>\n

The device’s curved edge is not only for aesthetics. It does serve a purpose, such as providing quick access to frequently used apps, alerts, and device functionality \u2013 even when the cover is closed \u2013 all with the swipe of a thumb.<\/p>\n

Users can also receive notifications directly on the Edge Screen while watching videos without disturbing their viewing.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Note Edge boasts of a 16-megapixel rear facing and 3.7-ega pixel front facing cameras that allow you to take great photos, including wide selfies, even in dark surroundings.<\/p>\n

Its ultra-high quality audio lets you enjoy great music, while the advanced S Pen introduces an enhanced digital writing experience and allows you to personalize the Edge screen.<\/p>\n

Quick tools provide access to various apps and features anytime, while the multi-window display makes seamless multitasking possible. Moreover, the Note Edge features the ultra power saving mode and a fast-charging, high capacity battery. The Note Edge also has a soft-textured back cover that offers a superior grip and enhanced durability. It comes in two colors: charcoal black and frost white.<\/p>\n

Only 1,000 units will be made available for pre-ordering until February 15, 2015 from any Samsung Experience Store nationwide.<\/p>\n

The unit comes with a free flip cover worth Php 1,499.00; an extended warranty that covers two years; and free content and services including one season pass to any available TV Series on Seasons, free bookings for three rides from GrabTaxi; and five complimentary passes to a special movie bundle from Blink.<\/p>\n

Customers can pre-order their Samsung Galaxy Note Edge sets using three payment modes: cash, straight card payment, or through a zero interest installment scheme over an 18-month period for BPI and local Citibank credit card holders.<\/p>\n

You can also trade in any phone and tablet and the appraised value (maximum of Php10,000) will be deducted from the Edge’s price.<\/p>\n

The units will be released through Samsung Experience Stores where it was purchased starting March 7 until 60 days from start of claiming period.
