Microsoft announced the appointment of Caroline Foo as Country General Manager for the Philippines. She steps into the role from Enterprise Commercial Director for ASEAN, where she led commercial and sales organizations across the region and built a deep understanding of Microsoft’s customers, partners and business in Southeast Asia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The appointment reinforces Microsoft’s long-term commitment to the Philippines, one of the fastest-moving Al markets in Southeast Asia. Microsoft continues to invest in the country’s digital foundations, working alongside government, enterprises, startups and partners to widen access to technology, deepen local capability, and support inclusive economic growth. As Al reshapes how the country works, that commitment is about making sure Filipino organizations are among those setting the pace.<\/p>\n

As Country General Manager, Caroline will lead Microsoft’s business in the Philippines with a focus on accelerating Al and cloud adoption across the economy. Filipino workers are already ahead of the global curve: the 2026 Microsoft Work Trend Index found that 25 percent qualify as Frontier Professionals, the most advanced category of Al users, against a global average of 16 percent. Her priorities are to help organizations turn that momentum into enterprise-wide transformation, to expand Al skilling so more Filipinos can take part in the growth it creates, and to advance responsible Al adoption built on secure, well-governed foundations.<\/p>\n

“The Philippines has the talent, the ambition and the digital momentum to lead in the Al era. The opportunity now is to help organizations match that ambition with trusted foundations, strong governance and the skills to translate Al innovation into lasting economic and social impact.
