Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC), the exclusive licensee of 7-Eleven in the Philippines, is pushing forward with digital transformation amid the expansion of its nationwide store network and the rollout of new tech-powered customer experiences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At its Annual Stockholders\u2019 Meeting, PSC announced it posted record system-wide sales of PhP99.4-billion, an increase of 6.4% from the PhP93.5-billion sales generated in 2024. The growth was driven by investments in technology, store upgrades, supply chain efficiency, and digital payment solutions. Likewise, net income remained impressive at PhP3.6-billion, despite a more challenging consumer and operating environment. PSC\u2019s balance sheet in 2025 remained strong with total assets expanding 10.5% to PhP47.8-billion and stockholders\u2019 equity growing 23% to PhP11.2-billion.<\/p>\n

According to Jose Victor Paterno, PSC\u2019s board chairman, the first half of 2025 was a good one for the company while the second half was more challenging although they had opened more new stores. Total store count as of yearend-2025 reached 4,491, from 4,130 in 2024. Of the total store network in 2025, 53.42% are company-owned while 46.58% are franchised.<\/p>\n

While the second half of 2025 was more challenging for the company, Paterno noted that this year will be better. They expect better performance in the second half.<\/p>\n

PSC continues to invest in store modernization, technology, supply chain, and operational efficiency designed to enhance shopping convenience for customers and operations more responsive.<\/p>\n

The company is also expanding its cashless payment acceptance across the network. It was successfully rolled out to more than 1,000 stores by the end of 2025, and cover over 4,000 stores by the end of May 2026. Customers can now pay using credit cards, debit cards, QR Ph, e-wallets, and other cashless methods to make transactions more convenient and faster while improving PSC\u2019s operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

Richard Lee, PSC president, shared that they are now focusing on execution, opening the right stores, deepening how we serve customers, and scaling the digital and payment capabilities they built this year. \u201cThat is how we keep 7-Eleven the most convenient choice for Filipinos wherever they are.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aside from digital payments, PSC\u2019s investments will go directly into store modernization, technology infrastructure, supply chain capabilities, and operational improvement to support long-term growth and to make shopping more convenient.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
