Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has been declared as the Philippines\u2019 foremost leader in broadband, as it delivers the fastest average speeds, lowest latency, and most consistent performance among all providers evaluated for December 2025 by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the analysis report, conducted through the national agency\u2019s \u2018Oplan Bantay Signal\u2019 program, Converge achieved an average speed of 193.61 Mbps (taking into account both download and upload) in Metro Manila across nearly 700,000 speed tests conducted – \u201cproving excellence at massive urban scale\u201d.<\/p>\n

DICT\u2019s Oplan Bantay Signal provides a comprehensive analysis of network performance data from across the nation. This report represents significant findings derived from extensive speed testing conducted to assess current network service quality and coverage effectiveness. The findings encompass critical metrics and performance indicators that have been carefully compiled through nationwide monitoring efforts.<\/p>\n

\u201cConverge ICT’s performance sets the national benchmark for fixed broadband excellence. The company demonstrates that fiber infrastructure can deliver consistent, high-quality service across diverse geographic conditions,\u201d DICT Secretary Henry Aguda said in the report.<\/p>\n

Citing the crucial metrics for network performance, the report detailed Converge logged the best average download speed,\u00a0 the best upload speed (indicating symmetric performance excellence) , as well as latency of 10.67 milliseconds which was noted as optimal for real-time applications.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeyond these metrics of upload and download speeds, we are actively improving our network for increased reliability and consistency in performance, at the same time as we work on enhancing connectivity in select parts of the country. We are looking at this from multiple perspectives, but definitely this is a badge of honor for us,\u201d noted Converge Chief Operations Officer Benjamin Azada.<\/p>\n

\u201cDICT\u2019s report gives a fair and balanced view; they also called our attention to specific areas where we need to improve our performance. We recognize this call and we pledge to focus our attention on these areas experiencing low or intermittent connectivity; yearly we allocate a budget not just for network expansion but also repair and recovery. We will put these investments to good use,\u201d Azada noted.<\/p>\n

Azada noted that the DICT review validates third party assessment, notably by Ookla who announced that in the first half of 2025, Converge bested its competitors, emerging as the Fastest Fixed Network, along with citations as the provider giving the Best ISP Video Experience, Best ISP Gaming Experience, and the Best Fixed Network overall.<\/p>\n
