The transaction is expected to be completed in early 2026, supporting Opticon\u2019s growth and global expansion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"styles_paragraph__6o_o7\">For Acer, the move expands its AIoT Edge Computing portfolio, adding identification and machine vision solutions that will create synergy with its subsidiaries AOPEN and Posiflex. AOPEN is a company which focuses on industrial computers for display engines and edge computing, while Posiflex Group is a global leader in Commercial AIoT, delivering smart online-to-offline (O2O) integrated solutions and scenario-defined embedded edge computing platforms.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"Quote_container__z1s15 Quote_alignLeft__eFsH4\">\n<div class=\"Quote_content__dZxaB\">\u201cWe\u2019re excited to welcome Opticon as the sixteenth publicly listed subsidiary of the Acer Group,\u201d said Jason Chen, Chairman and CEO, Acer Inc. \u201cThis is part of our continued strategy of expanding multiple business engines, while affirming our commitment to AIoT Edge Computing.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"Quote_container__z1s15 Quote_alignLeft__eFsH4\">\n<div class=\"Quote_content__dZxaB\">\u201cEsquarre will bring decades of experience in the embedded market to the table, supporting Opticon\u2019s expansion while enhancing its operations,\u201d said Jay Cheng, CEO of Esquarre. \u201cTogether with Acer, we\u2019re confident that Opticon will transform from a device maker to a solution provider for AIoT applications.
