The Travel Alliance, comprising mobile operators across Asia-Pacific \u2014 Singtel, AIS, Taiwan Mobile, GOMO Philippines, KDDI, Telkomsel, Optus and HKT \u2014 announced the official launch of WanderJoy, the world\u2019s first cross-border rewards program by telcos. This initiative marks a major step toward transforming the way people travel, connecting millions of customers to a multitude of benefits and exclusive travel privileges that can be redeemed easily across borders.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the Asia Pacific Loyalty Programs Intelligence Report 2025, traveller experiences across the region remain fragmented and inconsistent. With the increasing volume of cross-border travel, travelers face persistent challenges including disjointed rewards systems, frequent SIM-swapping, language barriers, and limited access to benefits abroad. The Alliance members already\u00a0<\/span>bring the best in 5G connectivity and roaming to over 350 million of its customers across the region. It is now\u00a0<\/span>bridging the gaps and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>setting a new benchmark in travel experiences with\u00a0<\/span>WanderJoy, which provides access to privileges, like premium airport experiences, and rewards across entertainment, dining and more, via a single, frictionless platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

WanderJoy features specially curated offers and premium experiences which customers can access through the Alliance members\u2019 platforms\u00a0<\/span>such as myAIS app, The Club, KDDI au Unlimited Data Overseas, GOMO PH app, My Singtel app, Taiwan Mobile app and MyTelkomsel<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since its soft launch in June 2025 as an online platform, WanderJoy has been steadily expanding its partner ecosystem and offerings, becoming every traveller\u2019s trusted companion.<\/span><\/p>\n

The latest additions to\u00a0<\/span>enrich customer journeys across the region<\/span>\u00a0include\u00a0<\/span>DragonPass, Est<\/span>\u00e9e Lauder, Grab, KKday, Omio and Trip.com extending differentiated perks for travelers, ranging <\/span>from airport lounge access and travel bookings to exclusive lifestyle experiences.
