{"id":70026,"date":"2025-06-16T07:52:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-15T23:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/?p=70026"},"modified":"2025-06-08T09:54:49","modified_gmt":"2025-06-08T01:54:49","slug":"pldt-smart-mediaquest-back-yseali-ootb-co-lab","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/2025\/06\/16\/pldt-smart-mediaquest-back-yseali-ootb-co-lab\/","title":{"rendered":"PLDT, Smart, MediaQuest back YSEALI &amp; OOTB Co-Lab"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PLDT, Smart, and MediaQuest support the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) and Out of The Box Media Literacy Initiative (OOTB) in holding the \u201cCreators Co-Lab: YSEALI Bootcamp for Digital Creators\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attended by over 60 delegates and speakers or mentors from across Southeast Asia, the three-day bootcamp supported by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, aims to upskill young digital content creators with learning discussions and hands-on activities on cybersecurity, intellectual property rights, brand development, content ideation, audience engagement, and other digital literacy-related topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">YSEALI is the US government\u2019s program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia. OOTB, implementer of the Creators Co-Lab, is a Manila-based NGO that promotes critical and civic-oriented Media and Information Literacy (MIL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PLDT and Smart provided communications support to the bootcamp and to the conference delegates. This aligns with THINKaMuna Pilipinas \u2013 the MIL initiative in partnership with MediaQuest and the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcaster ng Pilipinas.
