There was a time when \u2013 if you wanted to have a not-too-shabby phone without emptying your bank account \u2013 you only had two choices: buy secondhand, or stick to an older model (that may not even be supported by its maker anymore). But those days are gone; nowadays, particularly if you look beyond the well-marketed major smartphone market players, you actually have numerous options.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter nubia V70 Design, which has features that make it a must-consider for those who want not-bad features without you spending your entire 13th<\/sup> month pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To start, this is an entry-level unit; it\u2019s \u20b1 5,299 price tag should tell you that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quick check of nubia V70 Design tells you what you\u2019d get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lightweight unit has 6.7-inch HD+ display (with 91% screen-to-body ratio), putting it at par (size-wise) with flagship units. With 1600 x 720 resolution, the screen should be crisp enough; and with a 120Hz refresh rate, everything should be vibrant, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unit has up to 14GB (4GB + 10GB dynamic RAM) and Octa-core processor, promising \u201cseamless multitasking\u201d. And with 256GB ROM, you\u2019d have more than enough memory space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

nubia V70 Design has a 50-megapixel AI camera, and \u2013 for the photo-crazy, there are AI-powered software tricks here (e.g. Magic Eraser, which cleans backgrounds in pics; RAW Super Night Shot that improves low-light photography; Magic Unblur; and Smart Gallery, which will even suggest captions for those pics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shipping with Android 14, the unit has \u201cLive Island 2.0\u201d that displays notifs, reminders, et cetera<\/em>; this is, basically, nubia\u2019s take on Apple\u2019s Dynamic Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now\u2026 with a 5000mAh battery, you should be able to use this all day long. It should help that there\u2019s 22.5w fast charging, which is extremely particularly for those who treat their phones like baby tablets\/laptops that are in need of juice all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
