Last year, we projected that STT Fairview would be ready in the first part of 2025, and we are on schedule to deliver the initial capacity by Q2 2025,\u201d said Carlo Malana, President and CEO of STT GDC Philippines.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">STT GDC Philippines continues to see strong demand for its services, maintaining impressive capacity utilization despite recent expansions. This high level of utilization reflects strong market confidence and underscores the company\u2019s ongoing commitment to serving its customers while attracting new ones.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI is seen to contribute 12% or about US$92 billion to the Philippines\u2019 GDP by 2030, according to the Department of Trade and Industry. Insights from Statista, meanwhile, forecast the AI industry in the country to grow in market size at a compound annual growth rate of 28.57%, reaching $3.5 billion by 2030, from the current $772 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, the company aims to leverage its expanded capacity to attract major cloud service providers, combining global expertise and deep local market knowledge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a joint venture between&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.globe.com.ph\/\">Globe<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ayala.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ayala Corporation<\/a>, and Singapore-based ST Telemedia Global Data Centres \u2014 which operates 95 data centers across 11 countries \u2014 STT GDC Philippines plays a critical role in the region&#8217;s digital infrastructure.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur designs are built around the current and future requirements of hyperscalers, and our ability to deliver on our commitments is underpinned by the ongoing development of local technical talent,\u201d Malana added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sustainability is a key pillar of STT GDC Philippines\u2019 growth strategy.
