The store is located in Newport District in Pasay City.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PSC has always taken a proactive approach to sustainability to show its commitment as a responsible organization in line with sustainable development goals. With the installation of solar panels, the company hopes to further reduce its carbon footprint and promote environmental awareness to its customers, which it will also do through new programs aimed at reducing single-use waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is still vying for solar panel suppliers, although the initial test project came from Phinma Solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this initial installation, the company has seen 12% &#8211; 15% savings on electricity consumption, and it is optimistic about the benefits of renewable energy from a resource management standpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PSC is looking at installing solar panels to 20% &#8211; 30% of new stores especially under ground-up transactions or those stores that they have put up. Some stores, naturally are in buildings, or structurally will not allow for solar panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apart from the opening of 7-Eleven\u2019s 4,000<sup>th<\/sup> store, the company is also celebrating its 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, a four-decade of providing convenience and comfort to its customers. PSC also opened a new store in Angeles City, Pampanga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCelebrating 40 years in the Philippines and opening our 4,000<sup>th<\/sup> store is a significant achievement for us. It underscores our commitment to delivering convenience and exceptional service. We\u2019re excited to keep serving our communities and look forward to the future,\u201d said PSC president and CEO Jose Victor Paterno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-founder and chairman of the Board Jose T.
