PLDT Inc. (PLDT) wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) maintains its 5G roaming leadership and expands its coverage with 171 international telco partners around the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis expansion is aligned with our commitment to ensure that our customers have access to our 5G roaming services wherever they are in the world, and are able to have meaningful experiences as they travel,\u201d said Alice Ramos, Vice President and Head, International Roaming and Strategic Partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For customers with Smart 5G SIMs and 5G-capable devices, they can avail of Smart 5G roaming services through 171 telco partners in 92 destinations: Aland Island, Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Crete, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guam, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Northern Mariana Islands, Norway, Oman, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, the United States of America, US Virgin Islands, Uzbekistan, the Vatican, Vietnam, and Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To activate their roaming service before travelling abroad, prepaid customers must text ROAM<space>ON to 333; while postpaid customers can call the hotline *888 or *800 for Smart Infinity customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
