Smartphone fans, who have not experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) yet in their \u201cphotography\u201d escapades, should include the realme 13 Pro in their bucket list this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sporadic afternoon showers and midnight rains during the past weeks did not deter me from taking pictures with the realme 13 Pro for a product review for Upgrade Magazine<\/em>. As I clicked endless shots at every opportunity, lighting conditions and locations, my rating scale climbed from so-so to satisfactory to eventually delighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While it is too early for a final conclusion, I think in the long run, realme 13 Pro could attract the interest of midrange camera phones shifters. It has left an impression on me on its market potential.<\/p>\n\n\n

The major highlights of the realme 13 Pro are the camera, battery, processor, storage and display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from AI being the hottest thing nowadays, specifically the AI Editor, four major highlights stand out. One buys the realme 13 Pro because of these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optics is the strength of realme 13 Pro. It uses the Sony LYT 600 OIS Camera (Main) 50 MP, and Ultra-wide Camera 8 MP and Selfie Camera 32 MP. Design-wise, realme 13 Pro retained the Luxury Watch look camera island that also hosts the sensor and LED flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great photos are produced when subjects are taken outdoor. Night scene flicks need further improvement as they tend to turn out as ICM (intentional camera movement) photos. Though, zoomed in ones could turn out clear and decent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve excellent camera phone photos out of realme 13 Pro, constant and endless practice is suggested. With the AI apps features, it is a never ending self discovery and learning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good thing, it has a memory of 512 GB ROM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AI Ultra Clarity app feature enhances image resolution and clarity in blurred shots. Additional features are AI Smart Removal, Group Photo Enhance and AI Audio Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n

It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 high-performing and power-efficient octa-core processor. During my photography and videography review for Upgrade Magazine<\/em>, the realme 13 Pro tends to get warm during prolonged usage. Indicating that the processor power is being squeezed to the max, I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Software-wise, realme 13 Pro runs on Android 14 with the realmeUI 5.0 interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DISPLAY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.72\u201d OLED with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Color display of 1.07-billion colors and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The curve frame makes the camera phone feel slim. This not only contributes to its sleek appearance, but also enhances its ergonomics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is protected by a Gorilla Glass 7i.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
