In response, Shopee has mobilized relief support to deliver aid to affected residents in partnership with various humanitarian organizations through its disaster relief program Shopee Bayanihan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until August 7, Shopee users can extend their help to the victims by purchasing donation vouchers from Gawad Kalinga, GMA Kapuso Foundation, and UNICEF through the e-commerce platform.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines,\u00a0underscored the e-commerce platform\u2019s commitment to utilizing their platform to help bring relief to affected communities. &#8220;Shopee is committed to leveraging our platform and resources to aid Filipinos in need. Together with our partner organizations, we aim to maximize our technological capabilities to help our\u00a0<em>kababayans<\/em>\u00a0across the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Users can access e-vouchers for Typhoon Carina victims through the Shopee Bayanihan microsite:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/shopee.ph\/m\/shopee-bayanihan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/shopee.ph\/m\/shopee-bayanihan<\/a> or look up \u2018Shopee Bayanihan\u2019 in the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the e-voucher of your preferred charity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u201cBuy Now\u201d to purchase the donation vouchers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the typhoon\u2019s exit from the Philippine Area of Responsibility, Luzon is still expected to experience bouts of heavy rainfall and low-lying areas are still warned against flooding.
