These mobility solutions have been specially designed to incorporate the visual identity of Paris 2024 to highlight the strong partnership between Toyota and the Games.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ensuring attendees fair and hassle-free access, the vehicles are offered as a shared mobility service connected to and powered by Toyota\u2019s KINTO Share mobile app. The KINTO Share car-sharing service has been made available to the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee since September 2023 and will supplement Toyota\u2019s official fleet to offer the Olympic and Paralympic family greater flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cornerstone of Toyota\u2019s Mobility for All philosophy lies in the belief that freedom of movement is key for active societal participation. Transitioning toward a mobility company, Toyota demonstrates the headway it has made in alleviating potential-limiting mobility barriers, as part of its \u201cStart Your Impossible\u201d (SYI) global corporate initiative that empowers everyone to challenge themselves and achieve their \u2018impossible.\u2019 The provision of these vehicles is in addition to Toyota\u2019s partnership with more than 200 Global Team Toyota Athletes from 40 countries, who are set to compete at the Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt Toyota, we are dedicated to creating a world where each individual has the freedom to move and can realize their fullest potential, working toward our vision of \u2018Mobility for All.\u2019 Sharing this ethos are the IOC and IPC, and our partnership seeks to support athletes and remove their barriers to movement. We are proud to deliver the latest advancements of our multi-pathway strategy to Paris 2024 \u2014 showcasing the impact we have made toward an inclusive and sustainable mobility future, that enables everyone to start their \u2018impossible\u2019,\u201d says Preston Tan, Vice President, Toyota Motor Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In collaboration with the IOC, IPC and Paris Organizing Committee of Olympic and Paralympic Games, Toyota brings to life its inclusive and sustainable mobility concept for Paris 2024&nbsp;\u2014 ensuring that athletes and their families, staff, volunteers, and spectators are provided the freedom to move, sustainably and safely around the athlete\u2019s village and respective Games venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Enabling Freedom of Movement for Everyone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Demonstrating its \u2018Mobility for All\u2019 ethos, Toyota provides Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 with 700 personal and group mobility products to afford ease of movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toyota has supplied over 250 seated&nbsp;C<sup>+<\/sup>walk<sub>S<\/sub>&nbsp;and standing&nbsp;C<sup>+<\/sup>walk<sub>T<\/sub>, personal battery electric vehicles that comprise a maximum speed of 6 km\/h. Boasting front obstacle detection systems, the two vehicles deliver safety to drivers and those around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committed to fostering a future of inclusive mobility, Toyota has developed wheelchair e-pullers, with fifty of them currently available at Paris 2024\u2019s athletes\u2019 village. These will be supplemented with an additional 150 e-pullers during the Paralympic Games opening ceremony to ensure athletes have easy access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two hundred fifty redesigned zero tailpipe emission electric Accessible People Movers (APM) have also been deployed to support attendees with physical disabilities. These APMs act as the main shuttle in the Olympic and Paralympic Village and at the venues. Complementing these are 150 wheelchair-accessible battery-electric vehicles,&nbsp;Toyota Proace Versos, that will remain in Paris after the Games for the use of people in wheelchairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Demonstrating Toyota\u2019s Multi-Pathway Approach to Carbon Neutrality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Placing sustainability at the heart of its commitment to building a better world of tomorrow, Toyota remains dedicated to achieving global carbon neutrality by 2050. Showcasing the progress it has made by leveraging its multipath-way approach that delivers a combination of different electrified vehicles, Toyota has brought over a fully electrified passenger vehicle fleet comprising 2,650 vehicles \u2014 of which 150 are wheelchair accessible \u2014 to Paris 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emitting zero-tailpipe emissions, about 60% of the fleet includes battery electric vehicles (BEV) Toyota bZ4X, Proace and Proace Verso and Lexus RZ, and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEV) Toyota Mirai. Reflective of Toyota\u2019s dedication to offering zero-emission vehicles, the Toyota Mirai is a hydrogen-fuel-cell-powered sedan that melds the boons of electric mobility with unparalleled comfort and ease of use, autonomy, and rapid recharging. In collaboration with Air Liquide, the Paris 2024 Toyota Mirai fleet has been refueled with hydrogen from renewable sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Believing that hydrogen is key to fostering a low-carbon world, Toyota presents its vision of creating a sustainable hydrogen ecosystem, through hydrogen solutions that go beyond current boundaries of hydrogen-powered mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten different hydrogen mobility applications, consisting of mostly fuel-cell, will be on display at Paris 2024, including two FCEV buses, converted specifically for the Games. These are alongside hydrogen-powered FCEV trucks, FCEV forklifts and FCEV-powered boats and coaches, as well as the Hilux prototype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Empowering Individuals to Start Their \u2018Impossible\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Athletes\u2019 devotion to sports and overcoming challenges are exemplary of Toyota\u2019s continuous improvement core value and commitment to creating a more inclusive and sustainable world.
