Participants were also encouraged to bring their pets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur commitment to the Philippines for the last 40 years goes beyond supporting local businesses, it extends into positively impacting local communities,&#8221; said Maribeth Espinosa, managing director of FedEx Philippines. \u201cThis fun run provides our customers and team members with a chance to enjoy quality time with their families and pets while supporting a great cause. Our purpose is to connect people and possibilities around the world in responsible and resourceful ways, resulting in a better world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe would like to express our deepest appreciation to FedEx for inviting us to be part of this remarkable event,\u201d said Leah Ibuna, owner and founder of Noah\u2019s Ark Dog and Cat Shelter. \u201cWe are also thankful for the opportunity to help our animals find lifelong homes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FedEx is committed to making a meaningful difference in local communities by promoting positive change.
