Toshiba has unveiled five laptops designed for specific consumers. The highlight of the launch was the Port\u00e9g\u00e9 Z10t, an Ultrabook and tablet in one.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Port\u00e9g\u00e9 Z10t<\/p><\/div>\n

Weighing only 850 grams, the thin steel grey metallic detachable laptop and tablet features a bright 11.6-inch full HD touch display, and is powered by Windows 8 Pro.<\/p>\n

The Port\u00e9g\u00e9 Z10t also features a 10-point multi-touch display and a digitizer pen for note taking, drawing and signature capture.<\/p>\n

Toshiba says the thin and ultra-mobile Port\u00e9g\u00e9 Z10t has been developed for extensive daily use and tested to meet the company\u2019s high quality and reliability standards. As a result, stored data is far less vulnerable if the device is accidentally dropped.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the keyboard is spill resistant\u00b9, so spilling liquids on it will not necessarily mean that data is lost.<\/p>\n

The Port\u00e9g\u00e9 Z10t has several advanced security and data management features installed: Intel Anti-Theft functionality reduces the risk of unauthorized access, the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) safeguards locally stored critical data, and Intel vPro technology is a comprehensive built-in security set tailored to the computer usage and the related threats of today.<\/p>\n

Besides giving added security against latest security threats, Intel vPro also allows IT departments to monitor, maintain, repair and upgrade the Port\u00e9g\u00e9 Z10t remotely.<\/p>\n

This detachable Ultrabook has the latest USB 3.0 ports on board, allowing for much faster data exchange with peripheral devices. Through HDMI and RGB, an easy connection can be made to the big screen, while the Intel Wireless Display technology enables users to send documents and multimedia files to a compatible TV set without any cables. The system also offered reliable and fast network access through the integrated Gigabit LAN port.<\/p>\n

Satellite S40<\/strong>
\nToshiba also introduced the Satellite S40 series, made up of the S40t and S40Dt.<\/p>\n

Powered by the latest Intel Core low power consumption processors or AMD Quad Core A-series processors, these notebooks boast of a significantly thinner design encased in an brushed aluminum ice metallic silver finish.<\/p>\n

To deliver faster and more responsive graphics, the system also offers a choice of Intel HD, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M with Optimus technology (dedicated 2GB VRAM) or latest AMD Radeon HD 8000 Series graphics.<\/p>\n

The S40 features a 14.1-inch HD display, up to 750GB HDD storage, integrated Optical Disk Drive, DTS Sound, built-in Onkyo speakers, and a 10-point touch display.<\/p>\n

The Satellite S40 Series features an integrated Optical Disk Drive and a full array of built-in ports to accommodate for a variety of computing needs without having a need for an external dongle. In addition, the systemalso includes Toshiba\u2019s USB Sleep & Charge technology, which allows users to charge USB-powered electronics while the laptop is powered down.<\/p>\n

Satellite L40 and L50 Series<\/strong>
\nAlso launched were the Satellite L40 and L50 series, comprised of the L40, L40D, and L50.<\/p>\n

Features of the Satellite L40 series include HD display with LED backlighting, NVIDIA Optimus technology, integrated Optical Disk Drive, DTS Sound, built-in Onkyo speakers, and Toshiba Resolution+ technology.<\/p>\n

Consumers who are big on design would appreciate the refined and dapper Satellite L40 series. With its choice of colors for each different version including a Glossy Gold Edition exclusive to Asia, each model comes with
\na sleek finish that matches the tiled keyboard with a glossy frame and matte keys.<\/p>\n

Satellite P50 and P50t<\/strong>
\nMeanwhile, Toshiba\u2019s Satellite P series, comprised of the Satellite P50 and P50t, are the newest notebooks designed for everyday users. These\u00a0 notebooks are designed with a brushed aluminum silver finish with chrome accents on the lid.<\/p>\n

The Satellite P50 runs a fourth-generation Haswell processor, GeForce GT 745M, a framebuffer of 4GB, and an optical drive. The P50t, on the other hand, features a third-generation processor and GeForce GT 740M. The P50t also comes with an intuitive 10-point touch and swipe support.<\/p>\n

Both the P50 and P50t come equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD display, an enlarged click touchpad and two Harman Kardon speakers.<\/p>\n

Qosmio X70<\/strong>
\nFinally, there\u2019s the Qosmio X70, Toshiba\u2019s latest laptop designed specifically for gaming enthusiasts who want the best when it comes to performance, speed, graphics, sound quality, and connectivity.<\/p>\n

Qosmio X70<\/p><\/div>\n

The Qosmio X70 boasts of a massive 17.3-inch full HD display with an 8-millisecond response time, as well as serious gaming hardware under its hood.<\/p>\n

This high-performing laptop is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core processor and comes equipped with 16GB of RAM. Its dedicated GeForce GTX 770M graphics card comes with up to 3GB of GDDR5 video RAM, and is NVIDIA\u2019s second most powerful mobile GPU to date. Four integrated Harman Kardon stereo speakers handle the X70\u2019s sound, with a 6-watt output of DTS Studio Sound.<\/p>\n

Pricing<\/strong><\/p>\n
