Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation has launched the Galaxy Tab S, the company\u2019s new flagship tablet, in an apartment-inspired set-up at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall where visitors and customers alike experienced the tablet’s stunning display, lightness and slimness. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Available in 10.5-inch (Php29,990) and 8.4-inch sizes (Php24,990), the Samsung Galaxy Tab S prides itself with impressive specifications an existing tablet in the market do not have, including the use of the high-resolution (2560 x 1600) Super AMOLED display, a 7,900 mAh battery for long hour of usage, and its slim and light design.<\/p>\n

Considered as Samsung\u2019s slimmest tablet, Galaxy Tab S measures 6.6mm thick. It is also the company\u2019s lightest with its 10.5-inch model weighing 465 grams while the 8.4-inch version comes in at 294 grams. These features make them light and easy to carry.<\/p>\n

Its long battery life and Ultra-Power Saving Mode provide Galaxy Tab S users enjoy long hours of entertainment without having to worry about recharging.<\/p>\n

The tablet\u2019s Super AMOLED screen meets more than 90% of Adobe RGB color coverage and gives out a 100 times higher contrast (100,000:1 contrast ratio), delivering deeper and more realistic images by making blacks darker and whites brighter. It also consumes less energy as it does not require a backlight.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Tab S has additional screen modes to choose from: The tablet\u2019s Adaptive Display ensures the best visual experience anywhere, anytime by intelligently adjusting gamma, saturation, and sharpness based on the application being viewed, the color temperature of the viewing environment and ambient lighting. Pre-set professional modes, AMOLED Cinema and AMOLED Photo, let users manually adjust the display settings for bright, dynamic results for both video and photo content.<\/p>\n

Besides, the tablet has an advanced outdoor visibility technology that makes on-screen content look bright, natural and easy to view. This makes users enjoy contents clearly and easily outdoors, even in bright sunlight.<\/p>\n

The beautifully crafted form factor design of Galaxy Tab S is extended to its accessories. The Book Cover accessory adapts three different display angles so it can offer the most comfortable position to watch videos, read or type. Its Simple Cover, which has the same protective structure as Book Cover offers but with a slimmer design, provides a perfectly fitting, lightweight protection.<\/p>\n
