The judges were impressed by Ranger\u2019s breadth of abilities, stating: \u201cThis is a reliable, stylish, and charismatic pick-up. It moves with ease over any terrain. It\u2019s as efficient as an off roader, but more practical thanks to its cargo box.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Natasha Milner, platform program manager, Ranger and Everest said: \u201cHaving worked on the new Ranger right from the beginning, I know how much customer feedback was poured into the truck to ensure it was fit for work, family, and play. And, as a mother, I can fully appreciate the truck\u2019s practicality and versatility. Thank you to the Women\u2019s World Car of the Year jury for this award, which recognizes Ranger\u2019s global appeal and ultimate capability.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next-generation Ranger is bold and confident on the outside with a defined new grille, rear box side steps, wider track and wheelbase, embossed tailgate and LED taillamps, and C-clamp LED headlamps that give it that unmistakable \u2018Built Ford Tough\u2019 look. Its cabin is completely redesigned with more comfort, technology, and functionality with the Ranger-first 8\u201d digital instrument cluster, 10\u201d or best-in-class 12\u201d portrait touchscreen, 360-degree camera, and SYNC<sup> <\/sup>4A with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An upgraded chassis and suspension, with a 50mm track width increase, ensure excellent ride and handling, whether riding with passengers, fully loaded with cargo or towing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Safety remains at the core of the next-gen Ranger with a suite of advanced driver-assist technologies that include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert &amp; Braking and comes with standard 6 or7 (for Wildtrak) airbags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next-gen Ranger was designed and engineered off the back of real-world customer feedback, with the team conducting more than 5,000 interviews across multiple countries.
