Responding to a new business-defined era, Philippine-based storage distributor INFOStorage Corporation has bundled technology from Hitachi Data System with Oracle to offer a solution that assures 24\/7 business continuity and high-availability.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Oracle solution includes the Oracle Real Application Clusters (a clustered version of Oracle Database) running on the Oracle Linux operating system and supporting Oracle VM, the company’s server virtualization offering.<\/p>\n

The Oracle Linux operating system offers zero-downtime updates; while Oracle VM being a free, next generation server virtualization and management solution makes enterprise applications easier to deploy, manage and support.<\/p>\n

For its part, Hitachi Compute Blade 2000 integrates network, power and server resources into a single, space-efficient, flexible solution.<\/p>\n

It is a \u201crelevant (enterprise IT and business) solution which the Philippine market can appreciate,\u201d explained Anthony Agustin Jr., vice president for sales and marketing, INFOStorage. \u201cWe coupled our expertise in Oracle and Hitachi.\u201d<\/p>\n
