(Smart) have prepositioned personnel and mission-critical equipment in\u00a0North Luzon\u00a0as\u00a0severe\u00a0tropical storm #FloritaPH\u00a0continues to intensify and is now moving towards the Isabela-Cagayan area.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PLDT group\u2019s&nbsp;Libreng&nbsp;Tawag (free calls),&nbsp;Libreng&nbsp;WiFi&nbsp;(free&nbsp;WiFi), and&nbsp;Libreng Charging (free charging)&nbsp;stations are also on standby, ready to be deployed in areas that will be heavily impacted by the tropical&nbsp;storm. However, for the safety of our personnel, operations will only commence once #FloritaPH&nbsp;has passed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PAGASA has&nbsp;issued&nbsp;Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal&nbsp;(TCWS)&nbsp;No.&nbsp;3&nbsp;in the northern and eastern portion of mainland Cagayan and the eastern portion of Isabela in the next 18 hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;following&nbsp;provinces will continue to experience TCWS No. 2: the rest of Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, the rest of Isabela, Quirino, the eastern and central portions of Nueva Vizcaya,&nbsp;Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, the northern portion of Benguet,&nbsp;Ilocos&nbsp;Norte,&nbsp;Ilocos&nbsp;Sur, and the northern and central portions of Aurora&nbsp;in the next 24 hours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company urges everyone to &#8220;take necessary precautions and heed the alerts and warnings of local governments and disaster response authorities.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc.
