{"id":4408,"date":"2014-03-25T09:11:30","date_gmt":"2014-03-25T01:11:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/?p=4408"},"modified":"2014-03-26T08:54:24","modified_gmt":"2014-03-26T00:54:24","slug":"samsung-introduces-two-new-tablets-aimed-busy-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/2014\/03\/25\/samsung-introduces-two-new-tablets-aimed-busy-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung introduces two new tablets aimed at busy people"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Samsung Electronics Co. has introduced two new tablets aimed at the &#8220;creative, dynamic and progressive individual&#8221;: the 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO and the 8.4-inch Galaxy TabPRO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Running on an Android 4.4 (KitKat), the two new tablets feature the world\u2019s first 12.2-inch WQXGA Widescreen (16:10) display, offering 2560\u00d71600 resolution with more than 4 million pixels.<\/p>\n<p>Both tablets also contain a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy NotePRO has a 9500mAh battery pack, while the TabPRO features a 4800mAh battery pack.<\/p>\n<p>A personalized Magazine UX, specifically optimized for a large screen, allows users to further tailor their Galaxy tablet experience for their own needs. With the Remote PC features, one is able to access their desktop from a PRO tablet wherever they may be.<\/p>\n<p>The Samsung S Pen included with the Galaxy NotePRO delivers a more responsive, productive and overall efficient tablet experience with access to features such as Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write and S Finder. In addition, Pen Window enables users to simply draw a window of any size on the screen, and instantly access unique in-application features such as YouTube or a calculator.<\/p>\n<p>The Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO also come pre-loaded with Cisco WebEx Meetings platform. And now for the first time on Android tablets, users can share anything on their screen as well as starting a WebEx meeting from contact list. Samsung e-Meeting provides collaboration capabilities by giving users the ability to share content during a meeting without having to access a central server or network.<\/p>\n<p>With the launch of the PRO Series, Samsung also introduces Hancome Office, an application intended for creating office documents. Hancom Office on the PRO Series&#8217; tablets allows users to create, edit and access documents, spreadsheets and presentations on the go.
