Project Binhi kicked off Chevron\u2019s first-ever virtual Volunteer Week, which annually unites Chevron volunteers to aid less-privileged communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chevron volunteers learned the importance of urban farming and keys to effective home gardening from\u00a0partner HomeGrown Organics The virtual seminar shed light on how urban farming can be a practical way to begin a sustainable lifestyle, harness planting skills, economize, ensure access to clean and safe food, and foster physical and mental wellness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To allow families to generate their own crops, Chevron also turned over gardening kits to the parents of selected students of Hulo Elementary School through the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong-Pasig-San Juan (RC ManPaSan)\u2019s \u201c<em>Yaman sa Hardin Kontra<\/em>\u00a0COVID-19\u201d project.
