Plextor beat off Samsung in this award that is based on reader votes. According to the company, \u201cwinning not only shows the excellent reputation of the M5 Pro, but also the growth in Plextor brand awareness.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Plextor.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4069\" alt=\"Plextor\" src=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Plextor.jpg\" width=\"620\" height=\"227\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Plextor.jpg 620w, http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Plextor-300x109.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Throughout the world, the company\u2019s SSDs are continuing to gain awards as reviewers praise their stability, performance, and value for money.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, the M5 Pro Xtreme collected no less than 13 awards in the last three months of 2013, bringing the grand total for the SSD to 86. From Israel to Portugal, the UK to Poland, the M5 Pro\u2019s constantly updated firmware kept it winning awards as 2013 finished. Among the review comments was \u201cOutstanding price\/performance combination\u201d from Test Praktiker Germany, \u201cResults of the different benchmarks show that the Plextor claimed specifications are true, SSD IOPS is also incredibly high\u201d from Hardware-Test Denmark, and \u201cExcellent all round performance\u201d from Skratchwiz PC UK.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the last quarter of 2013, the M5M was also awarded in Hardware-Mag Germany, Twaekers BeNeLux, given an Extreme Performance award by Overclockear Spain, and won HW Legend\u2019s &#8220;Italy\u2019s Gold&#8221; award. HW Legend put the M5M through some testing and found \u201chigh performance in every area\u201d, combined with \u201cgood operational stability\u201d. It was also impressed with the \u201cgreat official support by the manufacturer\u201d. Overclockear Spain went as far as saying that there was nothing that could be improved on.<\/p>\n<p>In Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia, the M5S added to its list of awards. This SSD retains Plextor\u2019s high build quality and offers superb read performance. FranzPC Poland selected the M5S over the OCZ and Samsung for reliability.
