{"id":40236,"date":"2020-10-09T18:13:52","date_gmt":"2020-10-09T10:13:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/?p=40236"},"modified":"2020-10-09T18:13:55","modified_gmt":"2020-10-09T10:13:55","slug":"sas-sets-up-care-center-in-phl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/2020\/10\/09\/sas-sets-up-care-center-in-phl\/","title":{"rendered":"SAS sets up care center in Phl"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>As\u00a0part of a regional ASEAN initiative, SAS raised funds through a Work from Home exercise where the company donated a quantum in correspondence to the number of steps SAS Philippines employees had taken.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Philippines SAS team used these funds to procure and donate the SAS Care Centre \u2013 A fully equipped medical tent outfitted with technology equipment and furniture for outpatient treatment for the East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) in Manila in September.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The donation also included two computers to be used for data collection as EAMC was setting up a QR code system to record health declaration information for visitors and employees.\u00a0This was SAS\u2019 commitment to the local healthcare community and to support Filipinos through these trying times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SAS Care Center equipment donation included three medical beds, medical equipment and office furniture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Philippines has seen a significant rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.
