At the end of the matches Team Barbie bested Tech Warriors and teams from City Savings Bank, DragonPay, Salarium and UBX to claim the title and a cash prize of Php 30,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donations totaling to P135,000 from participating companies throughout the entire ULeague season will be turned over to the tournament beneficiaries Caritas Manila and Kalipay Negrese Foundation in support of their COVID-19 relief programs.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe ULeague Mobile Legends Charity Clash Tournament was born out of UnionBank\u2019s internal tournament for employee engagement called UGames,\u201d said Arvie de Vera, UnionBank Senior Vice President and Fintech Group Head. \u201cUGames started before the pandemic, and following the lockdown quickly shifted to being fully digital. It turned out to be the perfect venue to engage employees while working from home. Matches were held after hours and streamed online. It started getting a lot of attention and interest, not just from UnionBank but our partners well. So we created ULeague to open it up to our subsidiaries and partners including corporates, fintechs and SMEs.
