The repairs can now be done in the Philippines by Power Mac Center Mobile Device Engineers.

The iPhone SUR, which rolls out on all Power Mac Center Apple Authorized Service Providers, addresses the previous three-week to a month turnaround time when units are replaced with a Service Replacement Unit shipped directly from Apple Singapore. This new service program would also help avoid instances wherein customers seek out unauthorized repairs.

“We at Power Mac Center are glad to be able to bring to Filipinos the convenience of having iPhone repair service made locally available,” said Marketing Director Joey Alvarez. Before availing of the service program, all iPhone units will be subject to Unauthorized Modification Check to be conducted by Power Mac Center’s Mobile Device Engineers, who have undergone extensive training sessions that equip them with the expertise to disassemble an iPhone using Apple-required and provided tools. These Mobile Device Engineers are also mandated to pass the iOS Qualification Exam and adhere to the strictest standards set by Apple.

“Through the iPhone SUR, customers are assured that the replacement parts are genuine Apple parts. Both the parts and the service are of the highest quality to give iPhone users the best value for their money,” added Alvarez.

This latest service program covers iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 5S and 5C units purchased not only from any Power Mac Center location but also from other Apple Authorized Resellers. While iPhone parts that can be repaired vary per model, they include the main camera, vibe motor, volume button shim, speaker module, SIM ejector arm, home button flex assembly, receiver module, speaker, rear camera, battery, display, and back cover.

The iPhone SUR is free for all units that are within the standard one-year Apple warranty. There is no limit to the number of times that an iPhone unit under warranty is repaired. Units that are no longer under warranty will be considered as “Billed Service” and are guaranteed three months of Power Mac Center Warranty for the same initial repair issue. “Billed Service” involves diagnostic fees, price of parts, and labor fees.

Power Mac Center unveils the iPhone Same Unit Repair (SUR) program that enables iPhone repairs can now be done in the Philippines by Power Mac Center Mobile Device Engineers.

[19,3
306,745,572
post-4003","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-headlines","category-phones","tag-iphone","tag-power-mac-center","tag-service-center
["GET
