This represents a 304% increase compared to the same period in\u00a0 2019, a remarkable feat amidst a pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur\u00a0Globe At Home\u00a0business truly made remarkable gains this first half.\u00a0 We are happy with the results and will continue to push forward to serve the needs of customers doing work from home,\u00a0 distance learning and those that are transforming their businesses to digital means, \u201d said Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To sustain these efforts,\u00a0Globe\u00a0is bent on boosting its network expansion in many provinces all over the country amid travel restrictions and varying degrees of community quarantines.\u00a0 The company has invested a total of PHP 20.9 billion for its network in the first half of the year, 10% higher than last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have shown resilience and will continue to remain steadfast even with this pandemic. Our network builds this third quarter will expand our capability to serve and ensure that our customers remain connected and updated.
