Samuelson will also join Infor\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samuelson\nis one of the longest tenured executives at Infor, having spent 14 years\nbetween M&amp;A and CFO roles. Samuelson was instrumental in driving strategic\nacquisitions for Infor, helping grow the company from $35 million in annual\nrevenue, to $3 billion, as well as securing enduring investment partners.\nSamuelson has also been actively involved in a broad array of Infor\u2019s\noperational and sales activities and has played a key role in several of the\ncompany\u2019s recent large customer wins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI feel very fortunate to work with such a great team at Infor,\u201d said\nSamuelson. \u201cCharles\u2019s guidance and leadership helped shape this company into a\nmarket leading provider of multitenant, cloud-based ERP applications. Our\nvision is to build on Infor\u2019s impressive trajectory, continually evolve our\nrange of SaaS products that allow for quick and material ROI and value add for\nour customers and provide first-class service at every step of the journey.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phillips\u2019s tenure as CEO has seen unprecedented growth and expansion of\nInfor with more than $2.5 billion invested in product design and development in\nthe past five years. Phillips, in addition to Samuelson and Soma Somasundaram\n(President and CTO), have played critical roles in overseeing and perfecting\nInfor\u2019s current product suite and shifting the company to the cloud. In his new\nrole as Chairman of the Board, Phillips will focus on strategy development,\ncustomer relationships, and new acquisitions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phillips said, \u201cI\u2019m\nextremely proud of the team\u2019s accomplishments during my tenure. It is the right\ntime to evolve our executive leadership as we continue to drive innovation in\nthe industry. Kevin is a talented leader and I look forward to working with him\nand our experienced team as Chairman.&nbsp; I am confident Kevin and his leadership\nteam will take Infor to the next level of growth, successfully implement our\nbusiness strategy, and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead.&nbsp;\nInfor has great people and is poised for growth in its unique mission as the\nfirst industry cloud company.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In connection with this\nannouncement, Infor made several additional senior leadership appointments that\nsupport the evolution of the company\u2019s operating model to enhance sales,\nservice and customer functions by geography, as well as support its long-term\ngrowth strategy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Soma\nSomasundaram<\/strong>, who has been with the company for over two decades, will take on the newly created President of\nProducts position, in addition to maintaining his current role as CTO. <\/li><li><strong>Jay\nHopkins<\/strong> has been promoted from\nChief Accounting Officer to CFO. <\/li><li><strong>Cormac\nWatters<\/strong> has been promoted to\nGeneral Manager, Head of International Markets.<\/li><li><strong>Rod\nJohnson<\/strong> has been promoted to\nGeneral Manager, Head of Americas.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All leadership appointments announced today are effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In January 2019, Infor\nreceived a $1.5 billion committed investment from its two primary shareholders,\nKoch Equity Development, LLC (KED) and Golden Gate Capital. This investment\nfollowed KED\u2019s more than $2 billion equity infusion in February 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cInfor\u2019s success, in terms of the value the company provides to its\ncustomers and the level of interest and investment it\u2019s drawn over the past\ndecade, are a direct result of the hard work of all Infor employees, and the\nvision its leadership team has put in place,\u201d said Jim Hannan, executive VP and\nCEO, enterprises for Koch Industries. \u201cOn behalf of the entire Board of\nDirectors, I want to congratulate these individuals as they prepare us for\nInfor\u2019s exciting next phase.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have witnessed first-hand the transformative leadership and\nrelentless dedication that Charles has brought to migrating the company to the\ncloud during his tenure. We are grateful for Charles\u2019s leadership over the past\nnine years and pleased the organization will continue to benefit from his vision\nand expertise in his new role as Chairman.
