{"id":35943,"date":"2019-07-23T19:54:10","date_gmt":"2019-07-23T11:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/?p=35943"},"modified":"2019-07-23T19:55:24","modified_gmt":"2019-07-23T11:55:24","slug":"honeywell-unveils-latest-cloud-based-connected-technology-offerings-in-phl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/2019\/07\/23\/honeywell-unveils-latest-cloud-based-connected-technology-offerings-in-phl\/","title":{"rendered":"Honeywell unveils latest cloud-based connected technology offerings in Phl"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Honeywell, a process automation solutions provider, unveiled its latest cloud-based connected technology offerings in the Philippines designed to address challenges that affect industrial operations, and allowing industries to introduce innovative services such as those enabled by advanced Data Analytics and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These\nchallenges are now being tackled in the Philippines with improved processes and\ntechnologies and workforce development, increasing the readiness level and\naccelerating transformation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur\ncutting-edge technologies and solutions are helping the Philippines progress on\ntheir journey toward digital transformation,\u201d said Jeffrey Estrella, Honeywell\npresident for the Philippines. \u201cWith our Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)\nofferings, we support future growth through technological advances for a wide\nvariety of industries, improving industrial operations and developing a new\ngeneration of skilled workers.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At\nthe event, Honeywell demonstrated how its technologies leverage the connectivity\nof IIoT to gather and analyze data in monitoring, and improving plant\nperformance thereby enhancing the productivity, efficiency and safety of\nindustries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nevent also showcased the latest Honeywell automation products, including\nHoneywell Trace, Industrial Cybersecurity solutions, Honeywell\u2019s Terminal\nManager, ControlEdge PLC, Experion Orion Console, Immersive Competency, and\nIntelligent Wearables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According\nto Ow Wah Heng, regional business leader of Honeywell Connected Enterprise, Industrial\nSolutions in Southeast Asia, Honeywell connected offerings transform people,\nprocess and enterprise data into actionable insight through the use of\nindustrial applications that enable every day to be your best day of\nproduction, everyone in your organization to be leading experts; and industry\nbest performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding\nthe company\u2019s participation in the Build, Build, Build initiative of the\ngovernment, Estrella said they are in a discussion in terms of rails and\nairport solutions to this project. \u201cThe current push or drive of our government\non transport has Honeywell solutions particularly on rails and airports.
