Upon its release in March several months ago, the Samsung Galaxy A20 has become one of many advanced smartphone releases to hit the market in recent years. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst Samsung has long been a huge player in the smartphone industry\u00a0and will continue to be for many years to come, with more competition available in the forms of the Huawei P30 Pro, HTC Exodus 1, iPhone XR and Sony Experia 1, prospective buyers are now faced with greater options when considering their next purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifications and\nCapabilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The smartphone giant’s latest release is fitted with an octa-core Exynos\n7884 processor, which seeks to rival the A12 Bionic processor of the iPhone XR\nand the 7nm CPU chipsets installed in both the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Huawei\nP30 Pro. With the Exynos 7 series, the GPU and CPU offers a more-than-adequate\ngaming experience. Furthermore, the A20 comes with 3GB of RAM, which is\nconsiderably less than some of its main rivals. The Galaxy S10 contains 8GB of\nRAM, which is matched by the Huawei P30 Pro, whilst the S10+ is fitted with an\never higher 12GB. Moreover, the Experia 1 and Nokia 9 PureView also possess\nmore RAM than the A20 as both are packed with 6GB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the A20 does provide users with a sizable 6.40-inch touchscreen\ndisplay. The standard screen, which also offers a resolution of 720 x 1560, is\nfitted with a super AMOLED Infinity V-Display, which offers a wider viewing\narea that makes activities\nsuch as gaming much more engaging<\/a>. In comparison, the S10 and P30 Pro\ndisplays at 1440p, whilst the iPhone XR offers prospective buyers a 1792 x\n828 resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In regard to battery capacity, the A20 does come in strongly in relation to\nsome of its competitors. The 4,000 mAh battery, which allows for 15W\nfast charging<\/a>, offers for a prolonged viewing or gaming experience. The A20\nbetters the lifespan of both the iPhone XR and S10 which are fitted with 2942\nmAh and 3400 mAh batteries, and although it does not match the P30 Pro\u2019s 4200\nmAh capacity, the latest model in Samsung\u2019s A series does offer a very\nimpressive level of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the specifications fitted within the Galaxy A20, the\nprocessor, combined with both the RAM and battery capacity, does allow for a\ndecent level of gaming when it comes to some of the most demanding open world\ngames such as Fortnite and PlayersUnknown Battleground. Additionally, gamers\ncan also use Samsung\u2019s virtual reality headsets to enjoy a different style of\ngaming on the A20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
