Integral to the development program is its\nemphasis on ecosystem management. The weavers, farmers, and fishermen will be\ntaught best business practices that support the UN\u2019s Global Sustainable\nDevelopment Goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research team has conducted research in Palawan and Sierra Madre, immersing in the communities to evaluate the existing social enterprise ecosystems in each. Indubitably, the provinces are teeming with untapped business potential. There is prominent support for community members\u2019 own ventures that ranged from aquaculture to woodcarving. Although the program will reinforce the ecosystems in each community, it will also give entrepreneurs a chance to take things up a notch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"620\" height=\"445\" src=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEED1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35069\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEED1.jpg 620w, http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEED1-300x215.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SEED program will spark eco-innovation within the\nsocial entrepreneurs by awarding a grand prize of continuous incubation support\nfrom Impact Hub Manila, hoping to ignite the Filipino inventive entrepreneurial\nspirit. This will feature free one-on-one coaching and consultancy, access to\nworking space, and several opportunities in the global network of industry leaders\nand business pioneers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With an ambitious goal of strengthening the country\u2019s\nsocial enterprise ecosystem across the regions, the program will also draw\nsupport from the dynamic startupsphere of major cities in the Philippines.
