The integration will enable Microsoft Intune customers<\/strong><em><strong>, running Sophos Mobile Security 9.0,<\/strong><\/em><strong> to configure access controls fed by the latest mobile device threat information, enabling employees to work and access data securely from any device or location while maintaining corporate compliance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Running on\nMicrosoft Azure, the Sophos integration will enable IT administrators to\nconfigure individual device usage policies within Microsoft Intune to enable\nemployees to be productive and work from the devices and applications they\nprefer, while ensuring corporate data compliance. If an individual endpoint is\ncompromised, Administrators will have access to detailed security insights from\nSophos Mobile Security to enable them to more effectively decide when to lockdown\nan individual endpoint and deny access to corporate data.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs we move towards zero trust networking,\nenhanced conditional access is crucial. With remote working on the increase and\nthe knock-on effect that has on corporate data access across a variety of\nmobile devices, there is a growing requirement to enable user productivity\nwithout compromising data security,\u201d commented Dan Schiappa, chief product\nofficer at Sophos. \u201cUnderstanding and managing security threats is central to\nthis operating environment and our integration with Microsoft delivers on this\nrequirement. By offering detailed threat insights relating to individual mobile\nendpoints, IT administrators can make more informed choices on whether to block\na device from network access.
