Lenovo has introduced two Android-based Yoga tablets, which will come in 8-inch and 10-inch screens, and could squeeze up to 18 hours of battery life, possibly the longest when compared to other tablets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A unique feature of the tablets is the circular base which houses the battery and doubles as a cylindrical handle designed for hold mode. To convert the Yoga Tablet into stand mode, rotate the side cylinder 90\u00b0 to allow the device to stand by itself on a desk or table.<\/p>\n

The Yoga Tablet can also be converted to tilt mode to allow users to type directly on the tablet, play games and surf the Internet. The tablet\u2019s auto-detection software automatically brings up frequently used apps in hold and stand modes.<\/p>\n

The Yoga tablets run on MediaTek quad-core processors with a clock speed of 1.2GHz. Both of the tablets display images at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.<\/p>\n

Other features include a 5 MP auto focus rear camera plus an additional 1.6 MP front camera, 16G EMMC, and Bluetooth 4.0. The 8-inch model has WCDMA with phone features, and allows users to make calls and send SMS\/MMS messages. The 10-inch Yoga Tablet features WCDMA without phone capabilities.<\/p>\n

Lenovo offers an optional Bluetooth keyboard for the 10-inch model that functions as a cover and even wakes up the tablet when it\u2019s removed and puts the tablet to sleep when it\u2019s attached.<\/p>\n

The Yoga Tablet can even charge other devices such as smartphones via USB on-the-go. Also equipped with Dolby audio, Yoga Tablet\u2019s front-facing speakers create surround sound through the device speakers and with headphones.<\/p>\n

The 8-inch Yoga Tablet will be available in both black and silver colors, while the 10-inch Yoga Tablet will be available in silver.<\/p>\n

The 8-inch tablet, which is priced at Php14,999, weighs 400 grams. The 10-inch tablet is at Php16,999 and weighs 603 grams. The tablets will be available mid-December.<\/p>\n
