The United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) is deploying Microsoft Office 365, a suite of productivity tools, which allows users to work anytime, anywhere and on any device. It boasts of communication solutions built for effective team collaboration\u2014from e-mail and IM (Instant Messaging) to social networking and video conferencing. UCPB also adopted Skype for Business Cloud PBX on top of the Office 365 package.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prior to the implementation, UCPB went through its Microsoft Exchange 2010 migration process to fully integrate Office 365 into the company\u2019s day-to-day banking operations. ePLDT immersed UCPB\u2019s selected department representatives in the suite\u2019s full features in a 3-day onboarding session. UCPB is the first ePLDT customer to undergo the Office 365 Adoption Program.<\/p>\n

The implementation is being done with the help of ePLDT and PLDT Enterprise.<\/p>\n

According to UCPB President and CEO Higinio Macadaeg Jr., the partnership with ePLDT helped in providing resolution to its disaster recovery requirements through the cloud-based application while improving internal collaboration among its employees.<\/p>\n
