{"id":29968,"date":"2017-10-27T12:37:16","date_gmt":"2017-10-27T04:37:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/?p=29968"},"modified":"2017-10-27T12:37:16","modified_gmt":"2017-10-27T04:37:16","slug":"fujifilm-marks-5th-year-in-phl-eyes-to-maintain-foothold-in-the-photographic-and-imaging-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/2017\/10\/27\/fujifilm-marks-5th-year-in-phl-eyes-to-maintain-foothold-in-the-photographic-and-imaging-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Fujifilm marks 5th year in Phl; eyes to maintain foothold in the photographic and imaging solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Fujifilm Philippines eyes to maintain its foothold in the photographic and imaging solutions market in the coming years using \u201cinnovative ways of attracting consumers, and the support of its partners.\u201d This is according to Nelson Perez, photographic and electronic imaging division manager of Fujifilm Philippines, as the company marked its fifth year of operations in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Fujifilm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29969\" src=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Fujifilm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"622\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Fujifilm.jpg 622w, http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Fujifilm-300x208.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 622px) 100vw, 622px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to Perez, the company is currently number one in terms of photographic and imaging solutions in the country, with its products including Instax cameras and photo printers. \u201c(Fujifilm is strong in the photo printer category as) we don\u2019t have major competitors anymore, and also number one in the mirror-less camera segment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To achieve its goals, a number of strategies will be implemented. Perez said that Fujifilm plans to renovate the culture of printing with the conversion of its concept shops into a one-stop shop conducive for family and young people to address their photo printing and imaging product needs.<\/p>\n<p>Perez also said they will reinforce their Instax products and at the same time, will be launching new printer for next year. Apart from this, he said next year will also be a great year for digital cameras. \u201cMore cameras and more lenses to come for 2018,\u201d Perez said.<\/p>\n<p>The company will be targeting Millennials as this market enjoys the Instax film format printing. \u201cHaving tangible pictures, it makes them more valuable. We have to address this to the young people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tomoyuki Fukura, president at Fujifilm Philippines, noted that the company has repair centers for digital cameras with faster lead time to repair; and continue to get feedbacks from customers to further improve its service and customer\u2019s satisfaction. In terms of after sales support, the creation of Fujifilm\u2019s Electronic Imaging touchpoints nationwide are expected to increase with the expansion of service center in Cebu or Davao aimed to increase its presence not only in Luzon but also in VisMin area.
