{"id":29144,"date":"2017-07-10T15:44:42","date_gmt":"2017-07-10T07:44:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/?p=29144"},"modified":"2017-07-12T10:52:09","modified_gmt":"2017-07-12T02:52:09","slug":"kaspersky-lab-opens-new-apac-headquarters-in-singapore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/2017\/07\/10\/kaspersky-lab-opens-new-apac-headquarters-in-singapore\/","title":{"rendered":"Kaspersky Lab opens new APAC headquarters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>To support the expansion of its business in Asia Pacific, Kaspersky Lab today announces the opening of a new location in Singapore for its regional HQ.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Kaspersky.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-196\" src=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Kaspersky.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Kaspersky.jpg 620w, http:\/\/www.upgrademag.com\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Kaspersky-300x85.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are currently 37 Kaspersky Lab offices in 32 countries around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The new address, at the Harbourfront Tower One, will provide more office space for the growing global cybersecurity company as well as closer proximity to the partners it collaborates with frequently.<\/p>\n<p>The relocated APAC headquarters also aims to better serve the requirements of its growing numbers of partners and customers across the region. Kaspersky Lab\u2019s APAC office is currently stepping up its efforts as it continues to grow its commercial and enterprise businesses with a solid focus on critical verticals such as \u2018industrial cyber security\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Not only serving as a hub for administrative, sales, marketing, and channel departments, the new Singapore office will also represent the regional base of the company\u2019s research and development team headed by Vitaly Kamluk, director of the Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) at Kaspersky Lab APAC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe move to our current location will allow us to grow and will deliver greater efficiencies. It will enable us to deliver key results to the company. Settling into our new space in this strategic location will meet our business needs for accessibility and more. Harbourfront will cater all these needs,&#8221; says Stephan Neumeier, managing director of Kaspersky Lab Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>The Kaspersky Lab APAC headquarters was opened in 2015 to oversee its regional business development and to become an extension of the company\u2019s research and development (R&amp;D).
