Eighty selected beneficiary public schools nationwide recently became recipients of a total of 1,200 Cloudpad Epic 8.9 devices under the Global Filipino Schools (GFS) program.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through Cloudfone\u2019s devices, students can access more online educational sources. On the other hand, teachers may also use Cloudpads as part of the school\u2019s new and modern approach to integrated teaching in the classroom.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

As part of Globe\u2019s initiative, GFS is a long-term educational program that seeks to transform selected public schools into centers of ICT (information and communications technology) excellence. By 2020, Globe, with the help of Cloudfone, aims to establish GFS in each of the 226 DepEd divisions nationwide.<\/p>\n

Through these efforts, Cloudfone and Globe aim to promote e-learning by utilizing Cloudfone\u2019s tablets as learning\/teaching tools for academic institutions and their hardworking teachers and students.<\/p>\n

Through Cloudfone\u2019s devices, students can access more online educational sources. On the other hand, teachers may also use Cloudpads as part of the school\u2019s new and modern approach to integrated teaching in the classroom. This effort to use advanced technologies, an important step forward for the participating institutions and education sector as a whole, as this sets the stage for 21st<\/sup> century learning.<\/p>\n

The first ceremonial turnover was held last Nov. 28, 2016 at the Andres Bonifacio Integrated School (ABIS) in Mandaluyong with Patricia Cristina P. Magnaye of Cloudfone\u2019s Corporate Communications team and volunteers: Annaluna Magnaye, Maynard Guinucay, Michelle Villafuerte, Carla Braganza, Jesper Ong, Michael Espe\u00f1a, Cathlyn Dolor Pavia and Janis Bauto where Cloudfone and Globe gave tabet units to the academe.<\/p>\n

This year, Cloudfone looks forward to distributing more units to several other public schools that have been chosen as the beneficiaries of the Global Filipino School Program (GFS), in hopes of empowering a digital lifestyle through digital learning.<\/p>\n
