Vivo Philippines launched the\u00a0new Vivo V5 smartphone that\u00a0has\u00a0a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The camera has\u00a0a 1\/2.78\u201d Sony IMX376 camera sensor with a SP lens system and an aperture of f\/2.0. It also has a front-facing soft-light flash that can illuminate its subjects whenever they take a selfie. Its rear camera\u2019s 13-megapixel sensor has phase-detect autofocus that helps users snap photos as they happen.<\/p>\n

Available in champagne gold and rose gold colors, the Vivo V5 measures 5.5 inches, comes in an all-metal unibody shell case and comes with a 5.5-inch 1280×720 high-definition display in 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. Powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, Vivo V5 runs Funtouch OS 2.6, a proprietary operating system which is now based on Android\u2019s 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.<\/p>\n

The device is also equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable to 128GB via micro SD, and a 32-bit AK4376 digital to analog converter Hi-Fi chip.<\/p>\n

Added features include the Smart Split 2.0, an improved version of Vivo\u2019s take on multitasking which allows users to view two apps side-by-side; and the Eye Protection Mode, which filters blue light from the screen to protect its users\u2019 eyesight.<\/p>\n

Vivo V5 is available for\u00a0P12,990.<\/p>\n

Other upcoming device, the Vivo V5 Plus, is expected\u00a0to supplement the Vivo V5. The device will be the same size as Vivo V5 but will have\u00a0a 1920×1080 display and 20-megapixel dual front-facing cameras.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
